Summer educational trip through North Idaho College. Sea kayaking trip on the Kootenai Lake with coursework on geology, anthropology, and ecology. Helped reconstruct weather-damaged campsite. Climbed rock face outside of Kimberley. From the lake, backpacked up to backcountry lodges in the Purcell Mountains for more coursework on human shelters, culture, and sustainable energy
