Seaspeak: A Language of Numenera
What is Numenera?
Numenera is tabletop roleplay game by Monte Cook Games, taking place in the distant future of the planet once known as Earth. Billions of years have passed, civilizations have risen and fallen, and our human descendants live in the ruins of immense and unfathomable technological societies. The useful objects that have survived and been repurposed by humanity are called the Numenera.

What is Seaspeak?
Seaspeak is a constructed language, or conlang, intended for use in gameplay to add depth to characters from the Rayskel Cays location. The language is not based on any modern Earth language but has realistic features that could be found in natural human languages. It is the intellectual property of undergraduate linguist Kate Taylor.
